About Bruno

I’m Bruno, the founder of Soulful Reflection.

My journey started filming with 8mm filming back in Portugal, long before this became a career. I loved capturing everyday life and holidays on tape, editing with two VCRs, and finding creative ways to tell stories. That passion followed me when I moved to the UK in 2004, and in 2013 I turned it into a full-time wedding photography business. Videography became part of the mix in 2016, allowing me to bring stories to life in both photos and film.

I’ve always been detail-focused and hands-on. I care about doing things properly, staying consistent, and building something that lasts rather than cutting corners or chasing trends. Outside of work, I love DIY projects and anything tech-related. whether it’s fixing, building, or experimenting, I’m happiest when I’m figuring things out.

Family plays a huge role in my life. Since having our son Lucas, I see time and memories differently, and that perspective influences both my work and how I live day to day. Life at home is busy, but in the best way, filled with laughs, energy, and little moments that matter most—shared with Jess, Lucas, and our dog Fudge.

About Jess

I’m Jess, and I became part of Soulful Reflection after Bruno and I met in 2022.

I joined the team across the 2024 and 2025 seasons, focusing on the wedding photography side and helping expand the business into portrait and newborn photography. It never felt like just joining something, it felt natural, like something we were building together.

I’m naturally more quiet and observant, which means I tend to notice the smaller things others might miss. I’m patient, detail-focused, and I care about getting things right, while bringing a calm presence to the day. I also love traveling and discovering new places whenever I can, it’s one of my favourite ways to recharge.

Becoming a mum to Lucas gave me a whole new appreciation for family photography. It made me realise just how important it is to capture real-life moments beyond weddings, and that perspective now shapes the way I approach every shoot. I tend to be the steady, behind-the-scenes one, keeping things organised, thoughtful, and running smoothly day to day.
